How To Embed Video Widgets To Other Pages on Shopify 2.0

Follow these instructions to install the shoppable video widgets on your other Shopify pages for 2.0 themes.

Embedding your shoppable videos on your Shopify pages → homepage, reviews page, about us page, etc., (other than product pages) has never been easier. Follow the instructions below to learn how: 👇 

Step 1: Select the video widget that you want to install on-page, and click on Installation.

You will be guided toward two options:

👉 install video widget in code editor
👉 install video widget as a section 

Step 2: Click on the Copy Code button to copy the installation code, which we call "a div". 

Step 3: Go to your Shopify store. Under Online Store → click Themes → Customize

Step 4: In the App embeds tab, enable the Videowise app extension. 

Step 5: Go back to the Sections tab, and from the search bar select Homepage, or search for the specific page you're looking to embed shoppable videos on. 

Step 6: Click Add Section on the left menu, and select Videowise Video Widget.

Step 7: To your right, you will see that a video widget section has popped up.
 

Select the widget that you want to embed on-page, from the suggested list, and click Save when you are ready.

💡 If you want to change the placement of the video widget, go to the menu on the left. Click on the six dots icon next to Videowise Videos block or section, and drag it to where you want the videos to be displayed. 

Advanced Mode: You can also copy the embed code manually if you prefer a more hands-on approach. To do that, copy-paste the code/the div. into the specific section or template of your Shopify theme codes. This process is the same as for product pages.

You need to identify the template file for that specific page, then add the embed code precisely where you want the widget to be rendered on the live page.
