How To Add a Custom Thumbnail

You may have heard the saying "a good first impression can work wonders". A video thumbnail is the first impression your audience has of your video. 90% of the best-performing videos have custom thumbnails.

We highly recommend that you use custom thumbnails whenever possible because an attractive thumbnail can become an essential differentiator for grabbing attention and increasing views.

How to upload a video thumbnail? 👇

1. You can set up a thumbnail for each and every video individually in the Library section.

2. Click on a video and select click on the Thumbnail tab. You will see the option to upload a custom thumbnail from your computer.

3. Once you upload your custom thumbnail, it will appear on every page / in every video widget the video is used.

For the best results, we advise you to stick to the following sizes when you upload your image:

Landscape videos: 800x450px

Portrait videos: 450x800px

Supported formats: JPG or PNG

We recommend that you optimize your images for faster page load.
