How to add a description to a video
First, you will need to navigate to the Library section and click on the video that you want to add a description to.
Secondly, go to Video details -> Video description. Add your description there, and click on Done. That's it! :).
The importance of adding a description to a video
We add information about the video with microdata (thumbnails, video duration, the description etc.) - this helps Google discover the video content on the page.
This does not guarantee Google indexing, but it goes a long way in helping with this process. That is why we recommend having descriptions for all the videos that are in use on your site.
As a rule of thumb, the Description field should basically contain a short description of the video content, with the brand and/or product name as keywords in it.
