The audience page will display all your subscribers and their associated data, allowing you to filter and segment them, so you can reuse them for different marketing and sales purposes.

It's divided into two different tabs:

  • Audience dashboard: an overview of all your subscribers and their associated data

  • Segments: a place where you can browse, export and sync with Klaviyo all your segments.

The audience page is only accessible to users with an Admin Videowise role.
If you have an Editor role and would like to access this page, you will need to request it from someone in your team with admin capabilities, so they can change your role to Admin.

How to segment the data

Create your first segment

In order to create a new segment, you will first need to apply a filter to your audience dashboard.

In this scenario, we are going to filter all our customers who interacted with us on a live chat.

Open "Filters" > "Source" > "Live Chat", select all shows or the show you prefer and click "done".

Once the filter is applied, you should now see the audience that matches the filter. If not, please make sure to have at least 1 subscriber in the segment to save it as a segment.

Below the "Filters" buttons, you will see the applied filter(s), as well as a new button "Save segment".

Click on it to save your first segment. This will open a modal prompting you to give your audience a name. Enter the name of your choice and hit "Save segment".

Segments can't be edited after they have been created. Make sure you have the right filters applied before saving it.

That's it! You just created your first segment. Now it's time to see how to repurpose it into your marketing and sales efforts.

Managing Segments

Your segments sit in the "Segments" tab of your audience page.

This tab will give you details about your segments, such as:

  • The segment name

  • The number of members

  • The corresponding Klaviyo list ID (if connected)

  • The creation date

From there, you can also sync your segment with Klaviyo, export it to a CSV file, or delete your segment. Scroll down below to learn how to sync your segment with a Klaviyo list.

Quick tip: Segments are clickable, allowing you to open the audience dashboard with the segment pre-applied.

How to export and sync with Klaviyo

Klaviyo

Let's say you want to send a special email campaign to all these customers who interacted during your live show.

Our integration with Klaviyo will let you send this segment and sync to one of your Klaviyo list ID, so you can then build a dedicated campaign for this list.

First, make sure you have connected your Klaviyo account to your Videowise account. To do that, head over to Account > Integration > Email providers to connect your Klaviyo account.

Once done, head back to the "Segments" tab and click on "Sync with Klaviyo" on the segment of your choice.

This will open a modal on your right, showing you details of the filters applied as well as a dropdown menu where you will be able to browse from your Klaviyo Lists.

Click on the dropdown, and select the list of your choice. Once ready, click "Save and sync".

This will now display the corresponding Klaviyo List ID on the segment details.

That's it. You can now build your campaign on Klaviyo using the list ID that is synced with your Videowise segment.

Please request an integration with your email provider by sending an email to [email protected]

CSV

To export your segment data as a CSV file, please click on the 3 dot icon, and in the dropdown, click on "Export". This will prompt an automated download with the name of your segment as the file name.

You can then re-import this CSV file into any CRM, email or marketing tools you are using to repurpose that segment.

Deleting an account

In the event where you would like to manually remove a subscriber from your audience dashboard, just hover over their contact details, and a delete icon will appear.

A confirmation modal will pop up asking you one more time to confirm the contact's deletion. Click on confirm to proceed.
