This widget allows you to display short videos instead of static images for each product tile on a collection grid page (e.g., /collections/shop-all).
Each video is linked to a specific product and will auto-play when visible, giving shoppers a real-life preview of the item.
Setting up your collection grid widget
First, head over to Widgets > Create new widget, locate the "Collection grid" widget and click on "Use this widget"
There, you will be asked to select one or multiple collections. You can choose a single collection or multiple ones.
Note: A product can belong to more than one collection. Videowise will update it everywhere that the product appears.
Once one or more collections are selected, you will be asked to choose a video that will replace your product image from that product grid on your collection page. Hit the "Done" button once happy.
You will need to repeat that step for any products where you would like to display a video instead of a static image.
Publishing your collection grid widget
Installing the widget requires no manual installation, as Videowise will automatically detect a collection page and inject the code to replace static images with videos.
In order to have your collection grid videos live, just hit "Publish on site" and the videos will automatically replace your static images.
Quick tips:
Make sure videos are short, clean, and showcase the product clearly.
Auto-play usually happens **without sound**, so visuals must be clear without voice.
