What is Tapcart?
Tapcart is a mobile app builder helping Shopify merchants to improve mobile conversions and retain customers. Custom Blocks will allow brands to create and customize their own blocks using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to deliver better experiences for their customers.

How to Connect Videowise + Tapcart Custom Blocks?
The integration is available to all Tapcart Enterprise customers with Custom Block enabled and all Videowise customers. To learn more if Custom Blocks are a good fit for you, visit the FAQs page.
Follow the setup instructions down below:👇
Step 1: Firstly, you would need to have our app installed.
Step 2: Log into your Tapcart dashboard.
Step 3: Log into your Videowise dashboard → ⚙️Settings → Integrations → Mobile apps → Connect Tapcart
Step 4: Navigate to Publish → Mobile apps: Tapcart
Add video widget to Tapcart Home Page
Step 1: Click on Tapcart Home Page → Reuse widget
Step 2: Select the widget that you want to use → Click Continue → Finish
Step 3: The widget has been applied to your home page → Click Finish → Start adding videos
Step 4: Select the videos you want to display in your video widget by clicking "Add videos."
Step 5: Ensure you add the correct videos, then click "Publish" to make the widget visible on the page.
Step 6: After successfully publishing the widget, proceed to the installation page and follow the instructions.
Step 7: While on the Install screen, proceed with the first step by navigating to the Tapcart dashboard.
Step 8: Navigate to Tapcart dashboard → App Studio → Home
Step 9: Hover with the mouse over the preview pane on the right → click "Edit drop"
Step 10: Click on "Custom Blocks" tab on the left pane → click "Launch Blocks Editor"
Step 11: In the blocks editor set a name for the new block → paste the code you copied from Step 7 inside the HTML tab → hit Save and then Close
Step 12: Select "Custom Blocks" and find your recently created blocks in the "My Blocks" section
Step 13: Drag the newly created block to the desired position in the Tapcart right pane → clickSave & Update to publish the new version of the app.
Step 14: Click Preview your app in the Tapcart simulator to make sure everything works correctly.
Step 15: In the Tapcart simulator → Tap to play → Installing app → The carousel widget is now installed on the mobile app's home page.
Add video widget to Tapcart Product Page
Step 1: Navigate to Publish → Mobile apps: Tapcart → Tapcart Product Page
Step 2: Click Reuse Widget
Step 3: Select the widget that you want to reuse → Click Continue → Finish
Step 4: Ensure that the widget being reused includes videos specifically for the product page, as you won't be able to add your own videos at this stage.
💡Before publishing the widget, ensure it contains videos by checking your product pages associated with the widget. If there are no videos, the widget won't be displayed on the Tapcart app. Verify the widget's video content on the associated product page, then return to the Tapcart product page to publish the widget.
Step 5: Locate your widget in the Widgets tab ➔ Check the number of pages it's used on ➔ Verify if videos are attached.
Step 6: Once you verified that your widget contains videos → It's time to publish it.
Step 7: After successfully publishing the widget, proceed to the installation page and follow the instructions.
Step 8: While on the Install screen, proceed with the first step by navigating to the Tapcart dashboard.
Step 9: Navigate to Tapcart dashboard → App Studio → Product detail
Step 10: Click on "Custom Blocks" tab on the left pane → click "Launch Blocks Editor"
Step 11: In the blocks editor set a name for the new block → paste the code you copied from Step 8 inside the HTML tab → hit Save and then Close
If you want to delete the block, click on the "..." on the right → Archive
Step 12: Select "Custom Blocks" and find your recently created blocks in the "My Blocks" section
Step 13: Drag the newly created block to the desired position in the Tapcart right pane → click Save & Update to publish the new version of the app.
Step 14: Click Preview your app in the Tapcart simulator → Tap to play → Installing app →Look for your product page
Step 15: Scroll on the page → The carousel widget is now installed on the mobile app's product page.🎉
Disconnect Tapcart
If you decide to disconnect Tapcart from Videowise → Navigate to ⚙️Settings → Integrations → Mobile apps → Disconnect Tapcart
💡Tapcart doesn't support the Pop-up widget. However, you can reuse various other Video Carousels from our Widget Theme Gallery and incorporate different interactions, such as shoppable products, video quizzes, lead capture forms, and call-to-actions.
