We highly recommend that you use custom thumbnails whenever possible because an attractive thumbnail can become an essential differentiator for grabbing attention and increasing views.

How to upload a video thumbnail? πŸ‘‡

  1. You can set up a thumbnail for each and every video individually in the Library section.

2. Click on a video β†’ Select the Thumbnail tab β†’ Upload a custom thumbnail from your computer.

Use Original Image:

  • When you select this option, the app will use the original, uncompressed version of the video thumbnail as the display image. This ensures that the thumbnail retains its highest quality, without compression, preserving details and clarity.

Optimize Image:

  • Choosing this option applies an optimization process to the video thumbnail, reducing its file size by compressing the image. Optimization helps in saving storage space and speeding up loading times.

3. Once you upload your custom thumbnail, it will appear on every page / in every video widget the video is used.

For the best results, we advise you to stick to the following sizes when you upload your image:

Landscape videos: 800x450px

Portrait videos: 450x800px

Supported formats: JPG or PNG

We recommend that you optimize your images for faster page load.
