AI Product Tagging Suggestions – Videowise

AI Product Tagging automatically scans your video library and suggests videos that likely feature a specific product. Instead of manually browsing and tagging one by one, you can review AI-detected matches and approve or dismiss them with a single click.

How It Works

When AI Product Tagging is enabled, Videowise analyzes your entire video library in the background for each product in your catalog.

Any video that the AI identifies as a likely match is surfaced as a suggestion, it is never automatically tagged. You stay in full control of what gets approved.

Where to Find AI Suggestions

From the Products page

This will also appear on widgets with product playlists enabled.

AI suggestions are accessible directly from your Media > Products section.

When the AI has detected video matches for a product, a purple notification badge appears on the top-right of that product row. The number on the badge reflects how many unreviewed suggestions exist for that product.

Expand the product row to see two distinct sections:

Tagged videos: videos you have already manually or previously approved for this product.

AI-detected videos: suggestions waiting for your review, displayed in a separate section below.

You can also review AI-detected product associations directly inside the video modal, without navigating to the Products page.

Reviewing AI Suggestions

Each AI-detected video card starts with 70% opacity to signal it has not yet been approved. Hover over any card to reveal three action controls:

Action	What it does
▶ Play	Opens the video in a full-screen modal so you can watch it before deciding
👍 Accept	Tags the video with the product and moves it into the approved videos section
👎 Dismiss	Removes the suggestion from the detected list without tagging

If you want to clear all suggestions for a product at once, use the Dismiss all button at the top of the AI-detected section.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does accepting a suggestion replace my manually tagged videos? No. Accepted AI suggestions are added to your existing product video list alongside any videos you have tagged manually.

What happens when I dismiss a suggestion? The video is removed from the AI-detected section for that product. It will not reappear unless the AI re-detects it in a future scan.

Can I still tag videos manually? Yes. AI suggestions are a layer on top of your existing manual workflow, not a replacement for it.

Who can use this feature? AI Product Tagging is available to all customers on a plan that includes the Clips add-on.
