How to create a product gallery video widget
Follow these instructions to create and publish a Product Gallery video widget.

Create widget
Step 1: Go to the Widgets section β Click New widget β All widgets β Select Product gallery video
Step 2: Click the three dots icon and select Rename widget to name your widget and start using it.
Step 3: Select your page and add a video to it.
Step 4: Choose videos from various categories such as uploads, Instagram, TikTok as well as Collect and Find UGC β Confirm

Settings
Player Controls for Product Photo widget: You have the option to enable or disable starting the video on mute, displaying the full-screen button, and autoplay.
These settings are enabled by default, and we recommend keeping them enabled for optimal user experience.
Collection page

Thumbnail
Disabling the option Use video thumbnail in gallery will apply the existing media.
Style
You can choose whether to disable or show the play button.
If you chose to display the play button:
- Select from four different play button styles.
- Customize the icon color and background color according to your preferences.
- Click Save changes

Publish your widget
To publish your widget, itβs very simple. You just need to click on "Publish Widget," and it will automatically upload to your page.
With this widget, thereβs no need to embed a code in your Shopify theme/editor, it goes straight to your live theme.
Pro tip: After installing any widget, please perform a hard reload (CTRL-SHIFT-R for Windows or Command-SHIFT-R for Mac) on the page with the installed widget in order to refresh the cache and thus making sure you are seeing the latest version of the page.
