Frequently asked questions
Do I need to reconnect my Dropbox account every time I want to import?
No. Once you connect your Dropbox account to Videowise, the connection is saved. On subsequent imports, Videowise will load your Dropbox library directly without asking you to re-authenticate, unless your session has expired or permissions have changed.
Can I import multiple files from Dropbox at once?
Yes. After your Dropbox library loads in the import modal, you can select multiple assets at once before clicking "Choose" to start the import. This lets you bring in a batch of videos or images in a single step.
Can I import images as well as videos from Dropbox?
Yes. The Dropbox import supports both video and image files. Select any combination of asset types from your Dropbox library and import them into Videowise together.
Where in my Videowise library are Dropbox imports stored?
All assets imported from Dropbox are automatically placed in a dedicated Dropbox folder inside your Videowise Library, keeping them organized and separate from content imported from other sources.
Once imported from Dropbox, can I make those videos shoppable?
Yes. Once a Dropbox video is in your Videowise Library, it behaves like any other video: you can tag it with products, add it to widgets, set a thumbnail, configure autoplay settings, and publish it across your store as a shoppable video.
