How to duplicate Videowise widgets

Steps to duplicate widgets
When duplicating your widgets, all the settings and styling will be kept, except for the videos.
Here's a step-by-step video and a text guide below to duplicate your video widgets.
- Open the widget you are looking to duplicate
- On the top bar, click on the "three-dot icon" next to your widget name
- On the dropdown, click on "Duplicate widget"
- Once duplicated, the widget will be renamed "Copy of [your widget name]"Your duplicated widget will be automatically be moved to the draft folder until you hit publish.

Duplicate widgets between stores
If you're managing multiple stores and want to reuse the same widgets, you can easily duplicate them from one store to another.
Steps:
- Open the Widget in the Original Store: Go to Shoppable → On-site widgets and find the widget you want to duplicate. Click on it to open it.
- Click the three-dot menu → Select "Duplicate widget".
- Click the Duplicate Widget button → Select the store you want to duplicate the widget to.
- Switch to the other store → In the Drafts section, you’ll find the duplicated widget labelled as "Copy of [original widget name]".
Pro tip: After installing any widget, please perform a hard reload (CTRL-SHIFT-R for Windows or Command-SHIFT-R for Mac) on the page with the installed widget in order to refresh the cache.
Best practices for widget duplication
- Organize before duplicating: Ensure your original widget is well-organized and contains all necessary elements before duplicating.
- Rename after duplication: Give your duplicated widget a unique name to easily distinguish it from the default "Copy of [your widget name]" name.
- Review and adjust: After duplication, review the new widget to ensure all settings and data have been copied correctly.
- Duplicate sparingly: While convenient, avoid unnecessary duplication to keep your workspace organized and manageable.
