Videowise supports direct video imports from Google Drive.
Steps:
- Go to Media → Import → Import from Google Drive
- A modal will ask you to connect to a Google account or choose which account to connect to.
- Click on continue to allow access to Videowise
- A new modal with your Google Drive content will display.
- Choose the video or image files you would like to import
- Click on select at the bottom left of the modal to start importing.
Imported assets will be stored in a dedicated Google Drive folder in your library.

Can I connect multiple Google accounts to import from Google Drive?
Videowise prompts you to choose which Google account to connect during the import flow, so you can select the account that holds the videos you want. If you need to switch accounts, you can re-authenticate during a new import session.

Yes. The Google Drive import supports both video and image files. Browse your Drive content in the modal, select the assets you want, and click "Select" to begin importing them into your Videowise Library.

Yes. You can select multiple files from your Google Drive library before confirming the import. All selected assets will be brought into Videowise at once, saving time when working with large batches of content.
Where are my Google Drive imports stored in the Videowise library?
Assets imported from Google Drive are automatically organized in a dedicated Google Drive folder inside your Videowise Library, keeping them easy to find and separate from content from other sources.
Do I need to re-authenticate my Google account each time I import?
Generally no. Once access is granted, the connection persists for future imports. However, if your Google session expires or permissions are revoked, Videowise will prompt you to reconnect before loading your Drive content.
